June 5 World Environment Day

In the event we organized at Fark Fikirler College with the theme of “Little Heroes Who Changed a Day”, we introduced children to nature-friendly habits. Each student was awarded with special titles representing concrete behaviors aimed at protecting the environment:

Water Hunter: Learned how to use water resources economically.

Energy Detective: Took responsibility for electricity saving and energy awareness.

Waste Warrior: Embraced recycling habits.

Carbon Commander: Understood the value of environmentally friendly transportation alternatives such as bicycles.

At the end of the event, each hero was presented with a pencil with seeds so that they can continue their contributions to nature. Because as Kumaş Tekstil, we know that a promise made with a pencil is a hope planted in the soil.

With this event, we supported children to embrace environmental responsibilities at an early age, while also strengthening the social leg of our corporate sustainability mission. With the awareness of our responsibility to the future, we are proud to contribute to the development of individuals who love and protect nature.
